1. Call to order by Chairman Sotka
Supervisor Hanson called the meeting to order at 6:01pm

4. Approval of Agenda
Supervisor Burmek made a motion to approve the agenda. Seconded by Supervisor Hanson. Carried 2-0
5. Public Input
A resident expressed concerns of Lake Noquebay not being frozen yet and the danger it could bring. There was a concern of the contamination of PFAS in the water, and the farm fields throughout the town.
6. Approve and correct meeting minutes from Regular Town Board Meeting November 10, 2025
Supervisor Burmek made a motion to approve meeting minutes from the Regular Town Board Meeting November 10, 2025. Seconded by Supervisor Hanson. Carried 2-0
7. Clerk-Treasurer’s Financial Report
Clerk-Treasurer Wilson gave the financial report including F&M checking beginning balance of $66,608.41, deposits in interest of $0.42, withdraws of $27,854.53 for an ending balance of $38,754.30. Fire Department checking beginning balance of $62,312.57, deposits of $635.00, withdraws of $708.17 for an ending balance of $62,239.40. General savings beginning balance of $314,444.62, deposits of $67,632.46, no withdraws for an ending balance of $382,077.08. Road construction account beginning balance of $92,907.25, deposits in interest of $307.30, no withdraws for an ending balance of $93,214.55. Fire Department savings beginning balance of $18,313.24, deposits in interest of $60.57, no withdraws for an ending balance of $18,373.81. Grant fund savings beginning balance of $42.62, deposits in interest of $0.14, no withdraws for an ending balance of $42.76
Supervisor Hanson made a motion to approve the clerk-treasurers financial report. Seconded by Supervisor Burmek. Carried 2-0
8. Correspondence – discussion on permanent solution for Town Hall water
Clerk Wilson informed the board that Chairman Sotka would like to look into a more permanent solution to the water at the Town Hall. Currently the DNR is supplying the Hall with Culligan water for a six month term.

c. Public Works Report
Hauled brush to dumpsite, mowed ditches, cleaned out the sand/salt pit, hauled winter equipment from cold storage to public works building, worked with Starzer Repair on DOT inspections on trucks. More works completed included in the board’s packet.

Nothing to report
e. Fire Department Report
The fire department had 2 calls, one for an unattended rubbish burn. Had mock car accident training. A rep from MSA attended their meeting. New air packs will need to be purchased. Getting quotes on an extractor to be able to wash gear.

b. 2026-2027 Election Workers
The 2026-2027 election workers listed include; Cheryl Baranek, Julie Butman, Alice Cayemberg, Penny Chaikowski, Joyce Cherry, Amy DeBruin, Kaitlin Deschane, Debra Doubek, Judy Gerlach, Tina Howard, Claudia Kaufman, Patricia Kaufman, Renee Kresl, Leslie Liesch, Farron Manning, Kimberly Rogers, Clare Welty, and Teresa Welty. Supervisor Burmek made a motion to approve the list of 18 election workers for 2026-2027. Seconded by Supervisor Hanson. Carried 2-0
c. Recycling Ordinance
Ordinance No. 2025-02, Title 8, Chapter 3, Town of Lake, Marinette County, Recycling Ordinance for Responsible Unit Recycling was provided to the board for review. The DNR has advised all pass this ordinance by April 2026. Supervisor Burmek made a motion to approve the ordinance as presented. Seconded by Supervisor Hanson. Carried 2-0.

Supervisor Hanson made a motion to approve the updated Hall Rental Contract. Seconded by Supervisor Burmek. Carried 2-0
